Over the years we have helped companies set up crisis plans and then were there to help when a crisis hit. We have advised companies dealing with immediate situations such as explosions, fires and health issues. Crises are often on-going and we have considerable experience in that area, too. Whether it be an environmental, governmental, consumer or employee relations issue, we have dealt with it. We have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry in preparing research teams to make presentations to FDA advisory committees and have a perfect record of approval recommendations. In the financial arena we have helped numerous start-up companies raise capital, even in difficult economic times. We have been written about in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Successful Meetings Magazine, Investors Daily, Backstage, and The New York Times.
THE PEOPLE Herb
Nestler He had a successful career in the media, holding positions with the Westinghouse and Plough broadcasting companies as well as Radio Free Europe and the Voice of America before turning his talents to education, training and consulting. Since 1988 he has lived in Munich, Germany, but regularly conducts seminars, workshops and executive coaching in Europe, North America and worldwide. As a university professor his teaching credits include the University of Illinois at Chicago, North Central College and the European Division of the University of Maryland. His fields of expertise run the gamut of communications from public speaking to interpersonal and business communications as well as broadcast journalism. During his management career Herb personally conducted business in 36 countries while serving in senior management capacities with Rotary International and the Promotional Products Association International, an experience which gave him a sensitivity to the special challenges of our global marketplace. He has conducted seminars in Europe for the prestigious North Carolina-based Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) and the Munich-based International Institute for Business Communications (IIBC). He also specializes in helping companies achieve the greatest success when exhibiting at trade shows internationally. His corporate clients include the German electronics giant Siemens, KPMG Consulting, automaker Audi, the SAP solution-provider ICM, the International Association for Exposition Management, just to name a few. In the last 20 years alone he has prepared more than 2,000 business executives to be more effective in their overseas assignments on every continent. His consultation in global integration (team-building of multicultural teams) has played a significant role in helping some of the world's largest corporations achieve their international expansion goals. Under the German banner Graf & Nestler, Herb's training activities are closely associated with Bob Moomey Communications to provide a global network of specialists to address the full range of corporate communications needs. Roy Executives who face customers, colleagues, investors, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, 60 Minutes, 20/20 and numerous other audiences have benefited from his counsel time after time. For more than 20 years, Roy Heffley wrote and produced national broadcasts for Peter Jennings, Ronald Reagan, Sam Donaldson and many others. Among countless assignments for ABC News, He worked in the White House Oval Office and inside the Camp David family quarters as the network producer for then-President Reagan's live addresses. Before joining ABC News, he produced and directed Dick Clark's weekly music countdown and the National Symphony Orchestra's first season of live satellite broadcasts. Roy works with such clients as Hewlett-Packard providing Strategic Message Development and Media Coaching for their largest rebranding ever on a global basis. Numerous other clients include Verizon, Northrop Grumman, ITT Industries, Dominion Resources, National Association of Manufacturers, Microsoft, WellPoint, and Canon. Roy brings a great understanding of the media and communications in difficult environments to his training and consulting for every client.
